Overseas Network, Aug. 11, a tourist car carrying 18 mainland tourists collided with a shuttle bus at 78 km of Alishan Highway in Jiayi County, Taiwan, at noon today (11). The local fire department was reported to have ambulances and firefighters on the hill to rescue the injured from 5 to 11.

According to the Taiwanese media Lianhe News Network, the suspected cause of the car accident is that the tour bus goes down the hill, the shuttle bus goes up the hill, the weather is slippery, and the car collides inadvertently when it meets. As for the cause of the accident, the police are investigating.

Because of the great impact force, the front of the bus was almost completely destroyed, and the glass of the bus was broken into spider webs. According to the report of rescue workers arriving at the scene, there were 11 injured persons: 5 injured persons (3 males and 2 females) on the bus and 6 injured persons (2 males and 4 females) on the bus carrying mainland tourists.

Firefighters first rescued 5 wounded and sent them to hospital, and then rescued 6 wounded. The wounded were sent to the mountain medical station nearby. The consciousness was clear, and one was seriously injured. It is reported that today (11) heavy rain fell in the Alishan Mountains, highway collapse was not interrupted, Alishan Forest Recreation Area was not closed.
