About 10 oclock, a staff member of the fire control command center of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, told Peng Mei News that 10 people had been rescued after a fire broke out in a residential building on Tanqian Road, Yuanzhou District. Just two hours before the fire, another car fire happened at the same place. There were no casualties in either accident.
At about 9:40 on the 25th, the official micro-blog of the fire rescue detachment of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, announced that at 7:40 on the 25th, the command center of the Yichun detachment received an alarm: a fire broke out in a residential building on Tanqian Road, Yuanzhou District, Yichun City. At 8:57, rescue workers have successfully rescued 10 trapped people, and the search and rescue is still in progress.
The aforementioned notification also states that after receiving the police from the command center, the Yichun detachment dispatched three duty squadrons, one battle protection brigade, eight fire trucks and 35 commanders to the scene for disposal.
According to the staff, the lower floor of the building is a shop and the upper floor is a household. At present, the open fire has been extinguished, but there is still smoke. In addition, rescue workers extinguished the aforementioned vehicle fire at about 6:30, but fortunately no one was trapped. The causes of both fires are under investigation.
The aforementioned staff confirmed to the surging news that the online video transmission was true. The video showed that a building was filled with smoke, flames and explosions. The roadside gathered some people. Another 15-second video showed a spark spattering and several explosions from a suspected building downstairs, with several cars parked nearby.
