As of 16:00 on July 24, the landslide of Liupanshui Mountain in Guizhou Province had resulted in 11 deaths and 42 loss of contact. At about 21:00 on the 23rd, a landslide occurred in Jichang Town, Shuicheng County, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. The landslide volume is more than 2 million square meters, with a total length of 1,100 meters. Local villagers said that landslides lasted for up to one minute. Like earthquakes, many houses were shocked and pushed one or two hundred meters. Twenty-one houses were buried, only loess was seen, and no roof was seen. Rescue is still under way.
