In the mens 50m breaststroke, Yan Zibei broke the Asian record of 26. 94 held by Japanese player Xiao Guan and Zhu Du in the preliminary race in 26. 93 seconds, and was tied for the sixth promotion. Yan Zibei and Pitty in the second group of semi-finals, started well and accelerated quickly.
