France, Britain and Germany call for the resumption of negotiations on Irans nuclear issue: stopping the escalation of tension

According to earlier reports in French media, France, Britain and Germany jointly called on 14 days to resume negotiations as soon as possible in order to avoid the dangerous escalation of Irans nuclear issue and ease tensions.

The heads of state and government of France, Britain and Germany issued a joint statement expressing concern about the possible termination of the comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue as a result of the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the Iranian nuclear agreement and Irans failure to fulfil key provisions of the agreement. In the statement, the three countries said it was time to act responsibly to stop the escalation of tension and to open a new dialogue between the parties. Iranian authorities said earlier that since the United States unilaterally abandoned the Iranian nuclear agreement and no longer fulfilled its obligations, Iran would also stop fulfilling more Iranian nuclear agreement commitments.
