BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Recently, the news that a 9-year-old girl in Chunan, Hangzhou, was taken away by a tenant at home and her whereabouts remain unknown has aroused widespread concern in the society. The official Weibo of the Xiangshan County Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) released a message on November 11 that the police and other relevant forces in Xiangshan and other places have made every effort to carry out search and investigation. As of 8 pm on October 10, 9 private rescue teams from Xiangshan were involved in the search for Chunan girls. Hundreds of people joined in the search for land and sea.

The report said that on October 10, Xiangshan Eagle Rescue Team went to the nearby Songlan Mountain Scenic Spot of Xiangshan where the girl had visited, and launched a joint search and rescue with the police, launching motorboats and rubber boats for rescue. Elephant Wolf rescue team also rushed to the scene to search and rescue.
