According to Letsgodigital, on July 2, 2019, LG applied for the trademark ThinQWallet in USPTO. The application is also included in European databases. The trademark is classified as Category 9/36 with instructions: Smartphone Application software, telephone payment software, block chain software, and digital wallet software for encrypting currency.
More and more companies are entering the world of encrypted currency. Letsgodigital said HTC released the Exodus smartphone last year, a block-chain smartphone that can only be purchased in encrypted currency.
