Steyr, 62, is a well-known investor, philanthropist, social activist and an important patron of the Democratic Party. According to Forbes, Steyrs total assets amount to $1.6 billion. In the mid-term elections of 2018, he sponsored more than $100 million of Democrats.
Steyr has repeatedly publicly expressed his demand that Congressional Democrats impeach President Trump. He announced in January that he would not run for president, but would concentrate on impeaching Trump.
At present, the number of Democratic presidential candidates has exceeded 20, and the first round of Democratic TV debate has ended.
