[Global Network Military Reporting] Russian Satellite News Agency reported on July 9 that Vladimir Drorov, deputy director of the Russian Federal Bureau of Military Technical Cooperation, said the same day that Russia hoped to receive an advance payment from India for the purchase of the S-400 system by the end of this year, so that delivery could begin in 2020 and be completed in 2025.
The plan has been agreed, and I hope the first payment will be paid by the printer as soon as possible, Drorov said. If advances are paid this year, the first system will be delivered in 24 months, he said.
I think the first system should be delivered by the end of 2020 to the beginning of 2021, Drorov explained. After the first system is governed, it should be delivered on a regular basis in the next few years, that is, India will accept all the systems by 2024-2025. He stressed that Russia had always been a serious contractor and would therefore deliver a full system.
In early October 2018, Russia and India signed a contract to supply the S-400 complex. New Delhi will pay $5.43 billion for the five regimentslatest anti-aircraft missiles.
