At 8:26 a.m. on July 10, the head of EF Education and Public Relations Department responded to the Red Star News and said that he had noticed the police report and that the case was still under investigation. EF Education and EF Education Xuzhou Center cooperated fully with the police investigation and we have zero tolerance for this.

The official said that at present, in the process of internal inspection, no one can rest assured that students will be handed over to foreign drug-related teachers (not drug-related), which is the minimum requirement of EF education for employees. We will take this as a warning and strengthen education. At the same time, EF Education will keep in line with the police and dismiss foreign drug-related teachers.

According to its statement, Xuzhou Center has four campuses, more than 60 foreign teachers, the normal teaching order has not been affected.
