After more than a years preparation, Huayi Brothers Party Committee was formally established yesterday. Cao He, former head of the Ministry of Public Relations, was appointed Party Secretary.
The governor of Changan Street noticed that, including Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent, 1585,000 non-public enterprises and legal entities have established party organizations throughout the country. Practice has proved that party building in non-public enterprises is by no means a virtual achievement, let alone an indispensable one.
According to the Zuojiazhuang Street Office in Chaoyang District, Beijing, the founding meeting of the CPC Huayi Brothers Committee was officially held on July 8. Wang Hao, Secretary of the Chaoyang District Committee, Wang Zhongjun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huayi Brothers, attended. Cao He, Chairman of the Preparatory Group of the Huayi Brothers Party Committee, was appointed Secretary of the Party Committee.
As we all know, Huayi Brothers, a private film and television company, was founded by Wang Zhongjun and Wang Zhonglei brothers in 1994. By the end of June 2019, Huayi Brothers had 1933 employees, including 115 Party members, 98 Party members after 80 and 90, accounting for 85.21%.
Wang Hao put forward three requests at the meeting. One of them is that Huayi Brothers Party Committee should give full play to the role of non-public economic party organizations, ensure the correct political direction and promote the development of enterprises.
In his speech, Wang Zhongjun said that the establishment of Huayi Brothers Party Committee will deeply integrate the Partys socialist core values, the initiative and mission of film and television creation into the companys blood.
Cao He, Secretary of the Party Committee of Huayi Brothers, said that he would actively explore and integrate party building into all fields and processes of film and television content creation. We will adhere to high standards and strict requirements and vigorously strengthen our own construction.
The governor of Changan Street noted that preparations for the establishment of the Party Committee by Huayi Brothers began more than a year ago. In March last year, the enterprise announced that the Organizational Department of the Chaoyang District Committee of Beijing had visited the preparatory work of the Party Committee.
Ding Qi, Vice President and Financial Director of Huayi Brothers, said that as a people-oriented light asset company, Huayi Brothers deeply realized the importance of cohesion and the guiding force of advanced ideas, and the members and colleagues of the company played a very important vanguard and exemplary role. The two founders of the company, Wang Zhongjun and Wang Zhonglei, have always maintained a positive and correct ideological line and supported the leadership of the Party.
Ding Qi said that in order to better implement the leadership of the Party and follow the pace of the Party, after consultation with the management of the company, it was decided to formally apply to the higher Party organizations for the establishment of Huayi Brothers Party Committee, hoping to be recognized and approved by the higher leadership.
The governor of Changan Street noticed that before that, Tencent, Alibaba, Baidu, Millet, Mei Tuan and other well-known Internet enterprises had already established Party committees.
Huawei set up its Party committee earlier, and its secretary is Zhou Daiqi. In January this year, Ren Zhengfei, founder of Huawei, said in an interview, I love my motherland and support the Communist Party of China forever, but I will never do anything to hurt any country in the world.
Just before the founding of the Party this year, the data released by the Central Committee of the Party showed that there were 1.585 million non-public enterprises and legal entities in the country to establish Party organizations. 265,000 social organizations and legal entities have established Party organizations.
The emergence of outstanding Communist Party members in non-public enterprises has given full play to the vanguard exemplary role and made outstanding contributions to the development of enterprises. Shao Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and senior vice president of Alibaba, said in an interview that he inadvertently found that 60% of the companys outstanding employees were members of the Communist Party.
Practice has proved that the party building work in non-public enterprises is not a virtual effort, let alone an indispensable one. It is not only conducive to the healthy development of non-public ownership economy and promoting enterprises to assume more social responsibilities, but also of great special and important significance to uphold and improve the basic socialist economic system in China.
