At 9:00 p.m. on July 7, a No. 20 bus licensed as Lu BN3850 in Qingdao, Shandong Province, was driven near Guantao Road Station when a plastic bag fell from the sky and hit the window in the middle of the right side of the carriage. The plastic bag contained two liquor bottles.
In response to the Tian Jiang Liquor Bottle incident, on the morning of 9, a staff member of the No. 20 Bus Office told Peng Mei News that they had reported the incident to the local police station, and the vehicle surveillance video and other materials had been handed over to the police.
The staff member said that the broken windows were made of toughened glass, which broke into cobweb shape after being hit. Fortunately, no passengers were injured, but a male passenger sitting near the window was frightened by the broken clothes caused by the splashing of glass slag.
According to his preliminary estimate, the bus company lost about 2,000 yuan.
Peng Mei News telephoned Jimo Road Police Station, which accepted the case, but its staff did not respond.
