BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhua) According to Taiwans Central News Agency quoted Japans Ryukyu Times as reporting that on the morning of the 8th local time, a Taiwanese man died in the rescue of his drowning daughter in a bathing beach in Isaidi, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.

Reported that at about 10:20 a.m. local time on the 8th, people called to report that two people were washed away by the sea water in the Okinawa prefectures headquarters, Riseti, commonly known as Anchi Sea Bath.

Okinawa police said a 43-year-old Taiwanese man drowned to rescue his 10-year-old daughter washed away by sea water and was hospitalized for first aid. His daughter was safe after being rescued.

Local fire authorities said the man and his daughter did not wear life jackets at the time of the incident.
