An only child spoiled by his father

According to the evidence in the case, Geng Mou, 22 years old, was diagnosed with ADHD and tic disorder in primary school. He had been at home since the fifth grade of primary school. Meanwhile, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia by the hospital. According to the neighbors around Geng Mous family, he usually looked normal, but when he got sick, he appeared to be very manic.

Geng Mou hurt his wife more than once during his growing up. At the end of 2016, he stabbed his fathers colleagues wife with a knife and was held in administrative detention by the Public Security Bureau for 10 days. Geng Mou said after returning to the case that after discharging from hospital, his father would often count himself, and in the process of borrowing money, he felt that his father cheated himself.

According to the judicial expertise, when the case occurred on June 22, 2018, Geng Mous ability to identify and control was impaired due to no abnormal mental activity, which was assessed as full criminal responsibility.

After hearing, the court held that Geng Mou intentionally illegally deprived other peoples lives and caused death, and his behavior constituted the crime of intentional homicide.
