According to the police, at 18:25 on June 11, Wen driver of Guangzhou New Welfare Company drove a No. 517 bus to Huangpu direction. As the car reached the Maogang Interchange in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, a man suddenly went to the drivers seat and grabbed the steering wheel with his hand, claiming to get off. The Wen driver stops drinking and pulls his hand away to warn against disturbance. At the same time, he takes emergency braking measures to ensure the safety of vehicles and passengers by parking safely on the roadside. But the man continued to rush into the cab, forcing the control buttons in the cab.
At that time, the passengers on the bus were also outraged. With the help of the passengers on the same bus, the driver finally controlled the man and dialed 110 to call the police, during which no one was injured.

After the police came to know the situation, they took the man back to the public security organ for investigation. After investigation, Wei Mou (34 years old) was drunk and took a bus that night. Because he was drunk, he felt that he had missed the time to get off, so he ran into the cab and tried to grab the steering wheel. He unreasonably pestered the driver to get off immediately.
At present, the suspect Wei Mou has been detained by Guangzhou police according to law, and the case is still under further investigation.
