The driver, Kuang Mou (male, 44 years old, from Yuannan Town, a scenic village in Yuancheng District, was rescued and the passengerswhereabouts were unknown; the other white car had the license plate number of P0M079 in Guangdong Province, and one driver in the vehicle was unavailable. Passenger, driver Lu Mou (male, 45 years old, Linjiang Town, Jiangdong New Area), whose whereabouts are unknown.

According to Kwang, after the vehicle fell into the water, the marble at the bridge fence just smashed the window glass of the cab, and the car quickly entered the water. According to Heyuan Daily, the Dongjiang Bridge is an open-web arch bridge with a deck height of more than 10 meters. It was just overhauled in January this year.
