 No casualties occurred when a 32-ton dangerous chemicals transport vehicle rolled over and caught fire at Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway


The official micro-blog of the first expressway brigade of the traffic police detachment of Qingyuan Public Security Bureau in Guangdong reported on June 14 that at about 8:00 on June 14, a traffic accident occurred in Yingde Section of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway (K2013+300M) where a dangerous chemical transporter carrying about 32 tons of toluene rolled over, resulting in a fire after the toluene leak, causing no casualties.

Traffic police in the jurisdiction have closed the two-way road in the accident section and the northbound entrance of toll stations along the line. The northbound (Shaoguan direction) Fogang Exit and the southbound (Guangzhou direction) Wengcheng Exit are diverted. Vehicles passing through this section are requested to bypass other roads.

At present, the accident site is still under disposal.
