The political circle noted that Wang Yongjun, standing member of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the CPC, had taken over the post of Jianhua as secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Discipline Commission.
From September 2014 to the present, Shanxi has changed three secretaries of the Discipline Commission, all of whom are senior citizens of the Central Discipline Commission.
Wang Yongjun, born in July 1963, is 56 years old. He came from Rudong, Jiangsu Province. After graduating from Nanjing University in 1983, he went to the letter and visit office of the Central Discipline Commission. In 1999, he served as the Deputy bureau-level discipline inspector and supervisor of the General Office of the Central Discipline Commission.
After 16 years of work in the Central Discipline Commission, Wang Yongjun came to the Office of the Supreme Procuratorate and served as a deputy office-level cadre and deputy director. He returned to the Central Discipline Commission in August 2003 and served as a disciplinary inspector, supervisor and deputy director at the Bureau level, and director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau.
In April 2009, the leading group of the Chinese Academy of Discipline Inspection and Supervision was established. At that time, Li Yufu, Deputy Secretary of the Central Discipline Commission, was concurrently president, while Wang Yongjun, then director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Central Discipline Commission, was Secretary and vice president of the Party Committee.
In January 2014, Wang Yongjun first landed in Tibet, serving as the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region and the Secretary of the District Discipline Committee, for more than five years.
Ren Jianhua, the outgoing Secretary of Shanxi Discipline Commission, was born in July 1957. He is 62 years old and is from Huixian County, Henan Province.
Zheng Zhijun noticed that he worked in the discipline Commission of Henan Province in his early years, and arrived at the Central Discipline Commission in April 2006. From 2006 to 2016, he worked in the Central Discipline Commission for 10 years.
In September 2016, Ren Jianhua, then the head of the Discipline Inspection Unit of the Central Discipline Commission stationed in the National Development and Reform Commission, landed in Shanxi and served as the Secretary of the Shanxi Discipline Commission for three years.
Be entrusted with a heavy responsibility by the Central Committee
During the period of the Central Disciplinary Commission, Ren Jianhua has made remarkable achievements.
Just one example.
During his appointment to the Development and Reform Commission, he investigated and dealt with the case of the Social Development Department of the Development and Reform Commission. On October 19, 2015, Wang Wei, Director-General of Social Development Department of NDRC, Ren Wei, Deputy Director-General, and Zhou He-yu, Researcher of Quality of Life Department, fell out. The three men were investigated by the Disciplinary Inspection Unit of the Development and Reform Commission, which was the first time that Ren Jianhua made his sword clear 59 days after taking office.
After going to Shanxi, Ren Jianhua was entrusted with an important task by the Central Committee.
In November 2016, according to the decision of the CPC Central Committee, pilot projects were carried out in Beijing, Shanxi and Zhejiang provinces to accumulate experience in promoting the reform of the national supervision system.
Zheng Zhijun learned that Xi Jinping hosted six meetings of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and the Leading Group Meeting of the Central Committee on the Comprehensive Deepening of Reform. He deliberated on the top-level design of the reform through reform and pilot projects.
In January 2017, Jianhua was appointed Director of Shanxi Provincial Supervision Committee. In June of the same year, when Xi Jinping visited Shanxi, he said, You have made great efforts in the pilot reform of the national supervision system, and the advantages of the system are being transformed into the effectiveness of governance. We should make good use of this reform result.
Some data have also been disclosed.
Ren Jianhua said in December 2017:
At present, the total number of objects supervised and supervised by discipline commissions and supervisory committees at all levels in the province is 297.52 million, of which 18% are non-Party members, an increase of 18.74% over the objects supervised and supervised by previous discipline inspection and supervisory organs in the province. The full coverage of supervision has further improved and perfected the supervision system and strengthened the power of anti-corruption.
Investigation of the Big Tiger
There is a background to explain.
After the pilot project, the reform of the national supervisory system was carried out nationwide. On March 20, 2018, the first session of the 13th National Peoples Congress passed the supervisory law. On March 23, the National Supervisory Committee unveiled its name in Beijing.
However, before the establishment of the State Supervision Commission, many tigers were investigated:
In November 2017, Lu Wei, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Propaganda and Liu Qiang, former vice governor of Liaoning Province, were investigated successively.
In December 2017, Zhang Jiehui, former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Peoples Congress, was investigated.
In January 2018, Feng Xinzhu, former vice governor of Shaanxi Province, Ji Tingqi, former vice governor of Shandong Province and Li Yihuang, former vice governor of Jiangxi Province were investigated successively.
Later news showed that the tigers were investigated and ended by the local supervisory committee, among which Zhang Jiehui, the Hebei Tiger and Ji Tiqi, the Shandong Tiger were handed over to Shanxi.
This is what the official draft says:
Ji Tiexi is suspected of bribery and corruption. He is appointed by the State Supervision Committee of the Central Commission of Discipline and Discipline and investigated by the Shanxi Provincial Supervision Committee. After the investigation is completed, Ji Tiexi is appointed by the Supreme Peoples Procuratorate and transferred to the Jinzhong Peoples Procuratorate of Shanxi Province for examination and prosecution.
In March 2019, Ji Ting was sentenced to 14 yearsimprisonment. The trial found that he had amassed 25.7154.89 million yuan. In addition, he also cheated the collection and painting works of the Ginza Art Museum and illegally occupied them, totaling 12.244 million yuan.
Zhang Jiehuis case was transferred to Taiyuan Peoples Procuratorate of Shanxi Province for examination and prosecution after the investigation by Shanxi Provincial Supervisory Committee was completed and appointed by the Supreme Peoples Procuratorate.
Last October, the case of Zhang Jiehui opened. It was alleged that Zhang Jiehui had amassed 126976.5 million yuan.
Three Old People of the Central Disciplinary Commission in 5 Years
From September 2014 to now, Shanxi Province has welcomed three disciplines Committee secretaries, Huang Xiaowei (September 2014 to September 2016), Ren Jianhua and Wang Yongjun.
Huang Xiaowei is also the old man of the Central Discipline Commission.
Before landing in Shanxi, she was the Standing Committee of the Central Discipline Commission and the Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Supervision. Like Ren Jianhua, she also went to Shanxi with a mission.
Following the fall of several provincial standing committees, the Shanxi provincial leading group completed a great exchange of blood in 2014, when Huang Xiaowei, the only female standing member of the Central Discipline Commission, landed by air as secretary of the provincial Discipline Commission.
Huang Xiaoweis entry into Jin Dynasty is also regarded as an important step in reshaping Shanxis officialdom ecology.
In September 2014, the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee convened a Provincial cadre congress and announced the appointment of important personnel. Wang Rulin was appointed member, Standing Committee and Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, and Yuan Chunqing was appointed.
Liu Yunshan, then the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, also attended the meeting at that time. He said, There are many problems in the political ecology of Shanxi Province, and the situation of building a clean and honest Party conduct and fighting against corruption is grim. The Central Committee attaches great importance to the existing problems in Shanxi and to the construction of Shanxis leading bodies and cadres. It has decided to make major adjustments to the Shanxi provincial Party committee.
What about the new Wang Congjun?
