X-Men director paid $150,000 to get rid of sexual assault charges

In December 2017, a man named Cesar Sanchez-Guzman brought Singh to court, claiming that he had been raped by Singh at 1700 hours, but Singh denied the charges altogether. The plaintiff said that when Singh took himself to a yacht and entered a room, he suddenly pressed him on the floor and raped him afterwards. In the process, he repeatedly asked Singh to stop, but was ignored. Since then, his alma mater, the University of Southern California (USC) Film Academy, has also removed him for sexual assault scandals. The University of Southern California Film Academy issued a statement saying Singh proposed that the Department of Film and Media Studies should no longer have its own name until the charges against him were settled.
