[Global Network Military Comprehensive Report] Indias Economic Times and other Indian media reported on the 15th that India successfully test-fired a locally developed Nirbhay long-range subsonic cruise missile that was below 100 meters above sea level, flying at a low speed of Mach 0.7 and hitting the target. Since the missile has been rated as an Indian version of the Tomahawk, its test launch has attracted attention from the outside world. Some analysts say that the missile will threaten China and Pakistan.

New Delhi Television (NDTV) quoted sources from the Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) as saying that India successfully test-fired a fearless subsonic cruise missile around 11:44 a.m. that day, and flew at a low speed of Mach 0.7 below 100 meters above sea level, successfully hitting the target 42 minutes 23 seconds after launching.

Reported that the fearless cruise missile after years of research and development, on November 7, 2017, the first successful test launch. With a range of 1,000 kilometers and a nuclear warhead, and a low-flying target of less than 100 meters at Mach speed of 0.7, the test will pose a threat to potential Indian rivals such as Pakistan and China.

Indias Defense Minister said in the successful launch of the fearless subsonic missile in 2017 that the successful launch of the missile will pave the way for its service in the Indian army.
