 A Chinese student lost contact with the local police in New Zealand


Today (March 15), a reporter from the Beijing News learned from the New Zealand Police that Guoquan Wu, a 22-year-old Chinese student studying at the University of Auckland, disappeared on March 10. At present, the New Zealand police are trying to search for the student. As of the time of publication, no trace of the student has been found.

Chinese student Wu Guoquan, 22, studied at Auckland University in New Zealand. He was 178 centimeters tall, with short black hair and medium stature, and wore black-framed glasses, according to a notice issued by New Zealand police. Wu Guoquan was last seen around 1:40 p.m. on March 10, near Sainsbury Road, Auckland.

This afternoon, a reporter from Beijing News learned from New Zealand police that Wu Guoquans vehicle was found in Piha Beach carpark on March 12 after a joint air and ground search in response to the loss of Wu Guoquan. For days, New Zealand police have been looking for people who have met or contacted Wu Guoquan, but they have not found any trace of Wu Guoquan.
