The aircraft is an upgraded version of the 20th batch AC-130J, equipped with improved Block30 software and avionics.
Reported that AC-130J is the first new type of air gunboat aircraft delivered to the 4th Special Operations Squadron of the 1st Special Operations Unit of the US Air Force. These upgraded gunboat aircraft were introduced to replace the AC-130U, which has been used by the US Air Force for more than 20 years.
