[Global Network Military Report of 5 March] Indias ANI News Agency reported on 4 March that the Indian Air Force shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle taking off from Pakistan over Rajasthan on Monday (4 March). Reported that a suspected unmanned aerial vehicle in Pakistan was found by Indian air defense forces, and then shot down by Su-30MKI fighter aircraft.
Reportedly, the downed UAV violated Indian airspace and reconnaissance of military positions in the desert area of Rajasthan. The UAV was detected by ground radar, and then a Russian-made Soviet-30MKI fighter aircraft was dispatched to the scene. The UAV was then shot down by an air-to-air missile.
At present, Indian officials have not made a formal statement about the shootdown of UAVs, and Pakistani officials have not responded to it.
