The US National Intelligence Strategy report exaggerates Chinas response to threats posed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

According to several foreign media reports, US intelligence agencies released a new version of the National Intelligence Strategy report on Tuesday, emphasizing the threats facing the United States from space, networks, computers and other emerging technologies, and listing China, Russia, Iran and North Korea as the major threat countries. At the regular meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 23rd, a reporter from the Russian news agency asked questions on the matter. In response, spokesman Hua Chunying urged the US to abandon the Cold War mentality and zero-sum game and do more to promote mutual trust between China and the United States and world peace.

Hua Chunying pointed out that the United States has recently issued a series of similar reports and made some false accusations against China and Russia, which we oppose. Hua Chunying reiterated that China has always taken the road of peaceful development and firmly pursued a defensive national defense policy. As you can see, China is a builder of world peace, a devotee of global development and a defender of international order.

Once again, we urge the US side to abandon outdated concepts such as cold war thinking and zero-sum game, do more things that are conducive to mutual trust and cooperation between China and the United States, and do more things that are conducive to promoting world peace and stability, Hua Chunying said.
