According to media reports in Pristina, Kosovo, on January 22, 100 miners working underground were trapped 700 meters above the ground due to a power outage caused by a transformer explosion. Rescue work has begun. By 3 p.m. local time, 29 miners were rescued. Rescue teams said that no one was at risk because of natural ventilation in the mine.
