Easy to Read | Beijing East Davos announces the success of Indonesias first UAV flight

It is reported that the first flight of the UAV was held in Java, Indonesia. The Jingdong Logistics UAV flew from the village of Yagebeida in Paraguayan County to the local Nurul Farahleles Primary School. Unmanned aerial vehicles deliver packages that include backpacks, childrens books and football, bringing new educational and sporting goods to local students.

This is the first government-approved UAV cargo flight in Indonesias history, said Timothy Reuter, head of the World Economic Forums UAV and Future Airspace. These tests are an opportunity for Indonesia to use UAVs to improve access to medical, humanitarian supplies and commodities in remote areas and to become a leader in Southeast Asia.

The first flight of the Beijing-East UAV in Indonesia has been carried out in eight provinces of China. The flight mileage is more than 120,000 kilometers, which is a key part of the logistics system of the three-stage UAV in the main-branch-end of the Beijing-East route. In addition, the first national public service UAV rescue team built by Jingdong UAV was formally established in May 2018.
