According to KBS TV on January 21, a Korean man in blue down jacket got on the bus shortly after the female passengers next to him got up and left. Subsequently, the man pulled out a multi-purpose knife from his pocket and kept opening and closing the knife as he spoke dirty words, waving back and forth from time to time.
Jin Mou, a female passenger on the same bus, sent a text message to the police, describing the mans dress and appearance.
Unexpectedly, with the arrival of the police, a bigger problem ensued.
Who called the police? The policeman asked me loudly more than twice and phoned me with the policemans telephone. The female passenger Jin Mou who called the police said so. Kim Mou was right next to the man.
In an interview with KBS television, Kim Mou also said, The police said,Alarm people are not there, get out of the car. Compared with the man pulling out the multi-purpose knife, they felt a greater threat at that time.
KBS reported that the police stayed on the bus for five minutes without taking any measures against men with knives.
According to the police, there was no mention of knife-holding in the alarm information received, and the police on duty knew nothing about it. We think we only report swearing words on buses, and there is nothing about knives, police sources told KBS.
