Wall Street Journal: This year Apple is still pushing three of the most expensive iPhones with three cameras

The new iPhone will be used to replace the XR model with weak market demand in China.

This week, several domestic electronics retailers slashed the price of the iPhone because of the sluggish sales of Apple in the market.

Up to the time of submission, the reporter has not contacted Apple for comment.

People familiar with the matter said that Apple decided to stick to liquid crystal displays (LCDs) at a time when the downturn in sales of the iPhone XR affected its recent revenue expectations.

Last week, Apple issued its first revenue warning in nearly 12 years, leading to a 10% drop in its share price, the biggest one-day decline in six years.

According to relevant sources, Apple plans to continue to launch LCD models, as the product has been in production for several months.

However, the news also said that by 2020, Apple will completely switch to organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays for the iPhone, thereby completely abandoning the LCD model. (Vicky)
