Discoverers of unmanned cruise ships in the East China Sea: suspected maintenance vessels were blown away by the wind

According to media reports, on the night of December 18, fishermen in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, found an unmanned cruise ship in the East China Sea. Today, the yachts discoverer, Wang Weiping, captain of Zhedai 03158, told Beiqing Daily that the ships cabin was being renovated. The business card found in the cabin was suspected to be a Korean ship. He suspected that a coastal maintenance ships cable had been blown off and drifted near Zhoushan.

According to media reports, it was found that the cruise ship was located at 127 degrees east longitude 15 degrees north latitude 30 degrees 40 minutes, more than 300 nautical miles away from Daishan Fishport in Zhoushan City, belonging to the East China Sea. Wang Weiping introduced that the captain of the ship is about 30 meters, about 10 meters wide, the cockpit is very luxurious, with four large horsepower mainframes. The cabin is being renovated and the stools have been removed, Wang said.

Wang Weiping found a business card in the cabin, so he judged that it was a cruise ship from Busan, South Korea, to Fukuoka, Japan. The reporter of Beiqing Daily saw from this business card that the company of the ship belongs to Daya High Speed Maritime Transport Company.

Wang Weiping introduced that the recent sea storms were relatively strong, and he suspected that the ship might be docked at the shore for maintenance, and drifted to the vicinity of Zhoushan Port after being broken by the strong wind. At present, Wang Weipings Zhedai 03158 fishing boat is towing the unmanned cruise ship to Zhoushan Fishing Port with a cable. At present, there are about 160 nautical miles in Zhoushan Port. Their boat is bigger than our boat, its speed is slower, and it will take at least two days to return to Zhoushan Port.

After the discovery of the fishing vessel, Wang Weiping has reported to the relevant departments, and the specific information about the unmanned cruise vessel remains to be further checked by the relevant departments.
