Reported that Mikhail Shishov, an official of the Russian Federation Security Bureau, said that when Ukrainian warships crossed the Kachi Strait, the artillery system had been adjusted to combat mode. Russia has found 20 kinds of weapons and ammunition on two seized ships, including 30 mm calibre shells, 4 AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers, 13 AK-47 rifles, multiple submachine guns and pistols, which are far above normal. The Russian side reiterated that the Ukrainian naval vessels stayed in Russian territorial waters for several hours, and the crew ignored the Russian warning to stop.
Shishov said that an instructional document was also found on a Ukrainian crew member, which asked them to work hard to build an invisible passage separating the Russian mainland from Crimea. Shishov said that in Donetsk, Eastern Ukraine, people recognized one of the crew members and said that they had been tortured and seriously injured by the other side. The Russian side believes that the crew belongs to the Ukrainian National Security Agency. The Russian side stressed that Ukraines three crew members were injured due to damage to the ships hull, but they were not injured by gunfire. At present, the injuries are stable.
Reported that Ukraine has not yet responded to the latest allegations against Russia. Ukraine earlier insisted that it had informed Russia of its actions. Ukrainian President Boroshenko condemned the Russian actions as aggressive and contrary to international law, and said that the Ukrainian crew members concerned were captured. Shishov countered that the Ukrainian crew were detained because they violated Russian criminal law, not prisoners of war.
