Jackson said in a statement that he had no fault, but regretfully abandoning the nomination because of the controversy over president Trump and the governments work. Rear admiral Jackson, currently president of the White House, was nominated last month to be in charge of the Department of Veterans Affairs, but questioned for lack of management experience. Recently, the US Congress received reports from him that he had done many illegal activities in the past and was not fit for this position. Accusations against Jackson included the illegal release of prescription sleeping pills to the White House staff, drunkenness during a presidential trip and the breakdown of a government bus after drinking. Jackson denied all the reports in his statement, saying, if it was true, I could not have been a doctor for the 3 president in the past 12 years, because it was a very important and sensitive position. According to a White House official, Jackson will remain the White House doctor for the time being.
